Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 28, 2026
This page is maintained by the Readli team to explain what we collect and how we use it. Readli is a personal reading tracker.
What we collect
- Account details you provide at signup (first name, username, email).
- Your library: the books you add, your progress, ratings, reviews, and reading goals.
- An optional profile photo, if you upload one.
- Basic technical logs needed to run the service.
How we use it
To show you your library, sync your progress across devices, and improve the app. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
Where it is stored
Your data is stored securely on our managed backend. Book metadata and cover images are fetched from public sources such as Google Books and Open Library.
Authentication
You can sign in with email & password or with Google. When you use Google sign-in, we receive your basic profile (name, email, profile picture) so we can create your account.
Your choices
- Edit or remove any book, review, rating, or goal at any time from within the app.
- Export your library as CSV from Settings.
- Request account deletion — contact us and we will remove your account and associated data.
Cookies
We use only the cookies and local storage necessary to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences. We don’t use advertising trackers.
Changes
If this policy changes, we’ll update the date at the top of this page.
